Berry Delight Smoothie

A refreshing and energizing antioxidant smoothie.

8oz. Organic Frozen berries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries or raspberries

8-10 oz. of Coconut water, (water or plant milk of choice)

1-2 handfuls of leafy greens, kale, spinach, or collard greens

4-5 red grapes

Extras: Dragon Fruit, Kiwi

Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Add liquids gradually to desired consistency.

Trust me when I tell you, I like simple!! This is a healthy and quick way to literally drink in the nutrients. This berry lovely concoction can be served as a smoothie or a bowl.

· I like to add ice to thicken it up a little. You can also add in frozen cauliflower… yep that’s what I said, add a few pieces of cauli to make it creamy.

· Don’t be afraid to experiment a little once you’ve got the base down. Adding a little ginger, cinnamon or clove can spice things up.

· Need a little protein boost? Add in a scoop of protein powder.

· Don’t forget your healthy fats! Pecans, walnuts, avocado, sunflower or chia seeds are great additions. Top with a sprinkle of cacao nibs.

· Need some energy fuel? Try some green tea, black tea or cacao. Delish!!
